The Lone Wolf Lobo is ridiculously expensive for its utility. Granted the quality is high and you will get a 3.45" S30V steel blade that deploys quickly in the automatic scale release mode (powered by a leaf spring). But it has some significant downsides that are not on par with its elevated price point: forced tip down carry, funky recurved blade (some may like), unimpressive pocket clip (although titanium), narrow thumb hole negates fast manual deployment, and a substantial 4.7 oz carry weight. There are MANY other manual action tactical and EDC folders that surpass the Lone Wolf Lobo in these areas. For instance the more affordable and outstanding Benchmade 940 will exceed it on every account. On the upside, fit and finish is high on the Lobo and the jimping is excellent. For a select few, the Lobo will hold their interest due to its double action deployment capability and its unique and fun scale release mechanism. I'm just not one of them. /////////////Nutnfancy Likeability Scale: 3 of 10
